The Platypus Conservation Initiative
Part of the Centre for Ecosystem Science at UNSW, the Platypus Conservation Initiative was established in 2016 for the purpose of reducing the risk of extinction to platypuses through scientific research, improved management, and increased awareness.

The Australian Conservation Foundation is a national environmental advocacy organisation working to protect Australia's wildlife, rivers, and ecosystems. ACF collaborates with PlatyCentral to support platypus conservation and raise awareness of the threats facing the species.
